Dr. Chhibber is a board-certified orthodontist who was chosen by Dr. Gary Wolf to take over the practice, thanks to his work ethic, high standards of care, and shared treatment philosophy.
He was born and raised mostly in North India. With his father serving in the armed forces, the family moved around the country often. Dr. Chhibber graduated from Manipal University, one of the most respected dental schools in India. He completed two orthodontic residencies, first earning a Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics at Manipal University, then a Master of Dental Science and a certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Connecticut, where he also holds an orthodontic fellowship. He went on to serve as a full-time faculty member at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City for three years.
A highly skilled clinician, Dr. Chhibber is known for his warm personality and kind heart. He was invited to present his board cases at the annual AAO meeting in New Orleans in 2013 and the NESO meeting in Hartford, Connecticut in 2014. He has lectured nationally and internationally on a range of orthodontic topics and has published several original articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. His work has focused on functional jaw orthopedics and its long-term retention. He received an AAOF (American Association of Orthodontists Foundation) research award and was sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists to attend the Academy of Academic Leadership program in 2014.
He also serves as an editorial board member for the Angle Orthodontist and reviews for numerous journals, including the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, the Angle Orthodontist, and the European Journal of Orthodontics. He is passionate about treating patients to the highest standards and taking part in practice-based research networks (PBRNs) to keep improving the quality of care his patients receive.
Dr. Chhibber met his wife, Surabhi, a pediatric dentist, while in dental school in India. North Central Ohio is now home for them, and they look forward to all it has to offer. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, swimming, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.
